Gold Sampling Expedition August, 2011 Sherette Creek, Alaska

A professional mining crew was directed by the Alaska Mines Corporation in August of 2011 to sample for surface placer gold at its Sherette Creek property in Alaska. The task was to make an objective determination of the property's surface gold mining potential and to document the process. The miners selected a previously mined site on the property to sample.  At the sampling site the mining crew felt they could estimate the lessor value of the property’s surface mining potential.  They determined an average of .5 grams of gold per cubic surface yard to be at the site--processing 500 cubic yards and recovering over two ounces of gold, at an estimated thirty percent recovery efficiency. The result of this sampling venture indicates: 1) that commercial amounts of gold can be recovered even from previously mined areas on the Alaska Mines Corporation's Sherette Creek property and 2) supports the estimate of significant placer gold reserves on this property.
